The sunshine of spring is getting back in January, and the new year begins. On this festive occasion and the turning point of new year, on behalf of the Party Committee and the administration office of Foreign Languages Department, we would like to extend our cordial greetings and New Year's blessing to our dear faculty and students. In the new year, wish you well in your job and learning; wish you and your family members happy and healthy.
在感叹“时间都去哪儿”的时候，我们发现追寻梦想的脚步正充盈着外语人的每一天、每一刻。一年来，在院党政的引领下，我系全体师生众志成城，梦圆外语，教学设施不断完善，教学质量稳步提升，教育管理更加科学，教学科研不断突破,系风学风稳步推进。2016年的外语系将继续秉承“英才辈出并蓄中外，语重情深兼修德业”的育人理念，着力加强内涵建设，全面提升我系综合实力。
When sighing "how time flies", we find ourselves fufilled by following our dreams in the past days and moments. Last year, under the leadership of Party Committee and administrastion of TIT, the faculty and students of Foreign Languages Department worked together to uphold department spirit and academic atmosphere by constantly improving teaching facilities and teaching quality, scientifically managing education, and continuously making breakthroughs in scientific research. Next year, the Foreign Languages Department will continue to follow the educational idea of "A cradle of elites, a faculty of excellence", pay more attention to disciplinary connotation construction and enhance the comprehensive strength.
再回首，我们倍受鼓舞；放眼量，我们奋发图强。在新的一年里，我系将在学科建设、师资建设、学风建设、文明创建等工作上再创佳绩。
Looking backward, we are greatly encouraged; looking forward, we will strive to be better. In the following year, we will achieve more in the construction of courses, improvement of teaching ability, inspiration of learning style and advocating of proper behaviors.
